Esoterris

Rune of Self-Discovery and Wisdom.

Believe in Yourself

Rune of Self-Discovery and Wisdom.

Once upon a time, a peculiar chaos magician named Esoterris lived in the heart of the mystic realm. Esoterris was unlike any other magician in the realm. While most were stern and severe, Esoterris was known for his sparkling eyes and perpetual grin. He had a curious habit of turning his spells into pranks, often leading to chaotic but hilarious results.

One day, Esoterris decided it was time for a journey of self-discovery and personal wisdom. But being Esoterris, he didn’t want to meditate or go on a pilgrimage like most magicians did. He wanted his self-discovery to be as unique and entertaining as his chaos magic.

So, he decided to call upon the power of the runes. He chose Ansuz (ᚨ), the rune of wisdom; Perthro (ᛈ), the rune of mystery; and Mannaz (ᛗ), the rune of humanity.

Drawing Ansuz first, he asked the rune to bestow his wisdom. Suddenly, Esoterris found himself in a cloud of smoke. When it cleared, he was in the centre of a library, surrounded by books that stretched high up into the sky. To his surprise, the books began talking, imparting wisdom through tales and anecdotes, each more absurd and ridiculous than the last. Despite the nonsensical nature of the stories, Esoterris found himself understanding deep universal truths hidden within the hilarity.

For Perthro he sought the rune’s guidance to unravel the mysteries of himself. Suddenly, a mirror appeared before him. But instead of reflecting, he saw multiple versions of himself, each representing different aspects of his character. One was telling jokes to a stone, another was attempting to turn a feather into a chicken, and another was deep in conversation with an invisible entity. It was a circus of bizarre events, but it made Esoterris realize the depth and complexity of his being.

Finally, Mannaz, he asked the rune to connect him with his humanity. Instantly, he found himself in a crowded marketplace. But instead of people, it was filled with fantastical creatures – goblins, fairies, minotaurs, unicorns. Despite their differences, they all roared with laughter at Esoterris’ magic tricks, reminding him that humor, joy, and connection were universal, binding him to all living beings.

Esoterris gained deeper self-insight with each rune, delivered through the chaos and humor that was uniquely him. By the end of his journey, he understood himself better and realised that wisdom could be found in the most unpredictable and often hilarious ways.

From then on, Esoterris’ magic became even more potent as he embraced the wisdom he had gained. His tricks became famous throughout the realm, spreading laughter and joy, and proving that wisdom often comes from the most unexpected sources. And that was the story of Esoterris’ self-discovery journey, a tale as chaotic and magical as the magician himself.
